This is a companion post to A Well Played Field Day. Check it out for more great Field Day resources.
Setup
Players are divided into teams. Each team has a hula hoop.
Game Play
Players stand in two lines, holding hands with the player next to them, facing the opposite team. The hula hoop starts on one end of the line. On “GO” they pass the hoop from the front of the line to the end. They cannot let go of hands.
Extra time? Try a variation below or have a hula hoop contest to see who can go the longest.
Variations
- Players stand in a circle and see how many times they can get the hoop around the circle in 2 minutes.
